Elisa Batti is a sound designer, pro­ducer and mul­ti­me­dia artist based in Ams­ter­dam.Her activ­ity is diver­si­fied between a spec­trum of dif­fer­ent projects, all of them though, con­nected through one red line: elec­tronic music.

She started her career in 2007, work­ing for the con­tem­po­rary dance scene, exper­i­ment­ing with soft­wares and sounds, cre­at­ing sound­tracks and land­scapes for chore­o­g­ra­phers; through the years she also started col­lab­o­rat­ing with visual artists for sound instal­la­tions and inter­ac­tive tech­nol­ogy.In 2012 she decided to develop her own musi­cal project. Dig­ging down into this direc­tion leads her to the cre­ation of Vio­let Fall (2013). The band released 2 albums with the japan­ese label Pro­gres­sive Form.

Since 2015 Elisa Batti slowly stepped actively into the techno envi­ron­ment as a DJ.As a techno pro­ducer, Elisa Batti released her first EP with Detroit Under­ground in Jan­u­ary 2018 and briefly after that together with her friend CYB she founded the label Imma­te­r­ial Archives. So far the label has released 5 EPs and many pro­duc­ers from the techno under­ground scene have been involved into it (Kaiser, VSK, Alfredo Mazz­illi, Denise Rabe, Wrong Assess­ment, Inso­late, Keikari, …)
